Importing keywords from an external source



To import a text list of keywords or keywords from a website's meta tags, click the Import button on the toolbar. (Next to the density and export buttons).

The import tool is limited to importing 500 keywords/phrases at a time. Up to 5000 keywords can be imported per day. The limit also takes into account keywords imported via the filter tool.

To import, enter the data to import, using one search term per line, or separating each keyword by commas. Select a database to fetch the search figures from, then click the Import button.

To import directly into a project, select a project name from 'the select project' list. Note: only 100 keywords at a time can be imported directly into a project.

To import meta tag keywords, enter the URL in the bottom field and click the Get Meta Tags button.

To import from a CSV or text file, click on the browse button, locate your file and click the Upload button.

The keywords will be imported then displayed. The imported keywords can then be used in the same manner as the search keywords.

Note: Please remove all non alphanumeric characters as they will cause the import to fail.
